However I have a N53SV and this topic has been quite useful, I especially want to thank the guy who created this wiki () but I wanted to ask a question. Hi, I'm a new Italian user, it's the first time I write on this forum, but I've been reading it for ages :) One issue i still have is the on screen display when i change brightness i do not get the OSD but brightness still is adjusted any tips on fixing that ? The nouveau driver is installed now (but I don't if it is used). #Asus n53sv fn delay how to#I don't know how to verify this but my guess is that the system only uses the Intel card but that the nVidia card is also powered (battery life is much shorter on Ubuntu than on Windows) I have tried some of the same things as TheShadow124 in his post and some other things not mentioned by him. If it's possible I would like to expand this topic to also discuss some issues with the Asus N73 series.
